Gah. Lorne. Awesome.

I loved this episode. I laughed out loud at a few parts and I don’t frequently laugh out loud when watching things.

I wish only that they’d been able to delve deeper into Lorne - more messed up stuff, maybe. The “not sleeping” explanation jives with the entertainment world he’s in, but I wanted something a little more sinister especially after that Judy-Garland-esque (SO GOOD) opening.

Still. It was a great episode.

The blue blood drinking was so deeply creepy.

I love that they’re mentioning the Shannshu prophecy again. (Not looking it up to correct spelling for fear of spoilers). I MIGHT have said this when it first was introduced, but I basically wanted them to table it until Season Five. And they did! Good jobs, guys!

I want some resolution to Cordelia. I hated her for the last two seasons, but she’s a huge part of the show. Angel mentioned at the end of the episode like he feels he’s losing a grip on his team and hey - let’s also mention that one of yours is down for the count indefinitely. While everyone (well, just Fred) is doing backflips to get Spike corporeal again, somebody could probably check in on that imaginary TV-coma that Cordelia is suffering from.

I hate Wesley’s feelings for Fred. But they’ve committed to them, so I’m on board for wherever this takes them.
