I still love it.

Because Spike was just introduced and because the circumstances were weird we had to deal with him a lot this episode, but I hope he doesn’t become the screen time suck that he was on Buffy.

(Also, it’s been six years and now his outfit looks stupid and out of place instead of bad ass. He just looks dumb.)

I will say that the place he was in during this episode - where it’s equally plausible that he’s double-crossing or triple-crossing anyone at any time - is where I wish he’d been for more of Buffy.

Chip to Soul to Trigger to Ghost is basically the most insane trajectory a vampire has ever taken.

Oh, wait a minute, I forgot about that pregnant one.

I hope they do something with Wesley. I really do. It’s only two episodes in, but since the end of last season he’s kind of been Reasonable Mr. Listens To Someone Else Talk and Then Responds guy. He’s kind of just filler. And I get that we probably need to reset the status quo with him after the bat-shittery of late Season Three. But still. Wesley.

He needs to wear glasses again. When is the very special episode where he gets new glasses?
