It’s amazing to me that I’m not getting cranky about this Jasmine plot. I generally hate mind control plotlines. But I like this. I also love that Cordelia is in a coma.

This is where Fred should have been when she came back from Pylia. After her crazy time, she should have been a reluctant warrior (which she kind of was that time she almost killed Angel.) But then they dropped it to make her the adorable stick figure that all the boys love who can eat so much food and sometimes has an accent! Cute!

I think the problem with Fred is that they wrote from outside-of-the-character in an attempt to make people like her. Rather than explore Fred’s baggage from the inside, they spent a lot of time talking about her.

Anyway - I loved this. I loved Angel’s discovery and I loved bringing everyone back. But I will say, I don’t buy the sadness everyone feels about missing Jasmine’s love. They were pretty much pod people when they were under her enchantment. I can’t feel real sympathy for them missing their pod person-ness.
